Her current medications consist of digoxin 0.125 mg every day; atenolol 50 mg every day; lisinopril 10 mg every day; furosemide (Lasix) 40 mg every day; potassium chloride 10 mEq, one tablet every day; rosuvastatin (Crestor) 20 mg every day. She is on a cardiac diet with a 2-g sodium restriction.The nurse checks the client, noting the vital signs: T, 98deg F; BP, 150/80 mm Hg; HR, 80 beats/minute; RR, 24 breaths/minute. The client has an aortic systolic murmur heard after the S1, and the point of maximal impulse is at the 6th intercostal space. The lungs are clear anteriorly and posteriorly.
